Oh it was pretty!!!

About two weeks ago we woke up to it still a little dark but this beautiful full rainbow and the sun shining on the house across the street. We printed the picture and took it to our neighbors.

We had our Graf Family Christmas Party at Dave and Colleen's home in Richfield. We had dinner and then we did our WalMart Christmas Party. Everyone gets a name of who is there and we have one hour and we can only spend $5.00. Then we come back and wrap them and we all take turns opening the gifts. We had a wonderful sleepover with all of us also with breakfast the next morning. The house was full of fun and love and happiness. It was a great time.
Thanks Dave and Colleen for letting us all get together and everyone was there!!!!

Jan's sister, Laura, turned 50 years old today and
we had a surprise Birthday Party for her tonight at our home.We surprised Lolly for her birthday!!

Here is the incision stapled together. He is doing great!!Jan had knee replacement surgery on Oct. 12, 2010

He got kicked by a cow in July and so he had been on crutches
for three months waiting for the ligament to heal.These are the class members that came.

In Dec. 2009, Jan & Ben Smith were invited to go as chaperones on an Art show in Cedar City, Utah with Jan's sister Laura who teaches art. On the way, home the bus driver passed out and Jan was sitting on the front right seat and noticed and brought the bus to a safe stop. His sister Laura held the man back from the wheel and Ben helped also. Jan had a feeling something was going to happen. These three were honored by the Red Cross in Salt Lake City as Good Samaritans in helping with this incident in March 2010. We were glad they were all able to help and save the children and themselves from a tragic accident.

We all met in Richfield, Utah coming from St. George & Salt Lake area & met at Dave's and had spaghetti dinner. We then went to WalMart after drawing names of each family member. At WalMart, we could only spend $5.00 on a gift for the name we drew. We came back to Dave's, wrapped the gift and then each person opened their gift one at a time and enjoyed the evening with such an awesome family. Some stayed the night--we drove home. What a wonderful evening.

this spring gives out

The spring would fill a football stadium in a day.

Planted the pole beans on the right in July and can't wait for them to produce

Tomatoes in front--the sun has been hard on them but the tomatoes on the left are doing great. They all have produced well. I have made salsa, bottled tomatoes and bottled tomato basil soup.

We cooked today in our new sun oven for the first time!!!!!
